As I said in my previous message.  Download a free
sound converter.  I recommend Switch Sound File
Converter.  It only takes seconds.  Ii will convert an
LP (around 45 minutes) in less than a minute.  You
can convert any type of sound file into whatever
format you want.  Very simple to use.

  Really? The thing is, when I try to import files, premiere 6 doesn't 
  even SEE wmv's -- there's nothing to click on, they're invisible. Also 
  real media files are the same...invisible.
