In Windows Explorer, switch to Details view. Right click the header bar where
it has Name, Size, Type, Date Modified etc. You'll get a list of file
attributes to show.

For images and video types Windows recognizes, there are options for vertical
and horizontal dimensions. XP has one Dimensions option that shows both in one
column.

Vista and 7 have separate selections for vertical and horizontal. I haven't
checked that on my laptop in a while, might even have separate dimension
attributes for images and videos. I know they *do not have* the XP type
attribute with both dimensions in a single column - which makes it harder to
sort images into exact same size groups.

What is quite annoying on Windows is it refuses to leave folders of images on
removable media in Details view. Quit looking at a removable and when you
re-open it, Windows has "helpfully" switched back to Thumbnails. There's
probably a Registry hack to cure that, which most likely disables some
*desirable* automated view feature.
