All true, but there are some downsides too - eg. camcorders usually have built-in ND (neutral density) filters to automatically reduce the light if needed, DSLRs don't so you have to provide your own (variable ND filters are popular for that). Until recently the GH2 also didn't have a powered zoom lens option, but Panny has just announced new 'X' lenses that have power zooms: http://tinyurl.com/3lf3sbz Also if you're in Europe, note that the GH2 doesn't have 25p @ 1080 at the moment, only 24p and 50i + 50p @ 720.
