For modern action cinema, the higher frame rates will be good, yes. 
The technique is available so it should be stupid not to use it, a 
lot of the rendered clarity in computer generated special effects is 
trashed again by usage of lower frame rates.

I love (and prefer) old cinema though and see the 24fps blur as a 
wonderful part of that. That's also what people try to achieve when 
aiming for "the cinema look". But this look is overrated and used by 
people for too many things. And in the end, "cinema look" doesn't 
consist of a certain frame rate alone, it also consists of proper 
color correction.
