I'm currently editing a bunch of HDV footage that I'd like to see
full-screen on my 1920x1200 second monitor. I've got Premiere Pro CS
5.5 running on the first monitor, with the Program and Source panels
dragged into the second monitor where I can expand them full-screen.
That's still not enough to get 1920x1080 video fully displayed
because the panels have baggage with them: the controls below, the
panel names above, and grey framing to the sides. The video ends up
being slightly undersized to fit in completely and occasionally has
some sizing artifacts. I can set the video to display at full
resolution, but then it's cropped slightly around the edges.
Does anyone know how to get the Program and Source panels to display
full screen so full-sized 1920x1080 footage appears without cropping?
Bonus points if there's a way to get full screen with the panel
controls still available below (possible on a 1920x1200 monitor with
the 120 extra lines of display).
Thanks,
Mike Boom
