Hi-
I agree with Uwe, you're jumping into deep water, and wanting to do some
pretty complex things.

An alternative to learning it yourself would be to hire someone who already
knows how to do it. It may look cost prohibitive at first, but having
someone who is skilled will likely save you time and money in the long run.
What may take you several days to learn, a professional could do well in
several hours. This frees you up to be productive elsewhere.

I obviously don't know the whole situation, so this may not actually be a
possibility, but my 2 cents is that it's better to call a plumber than try
to learn plumbing.
