If you have Encore, that will automatically enable you to dump up to 99
JPEG's (I think) into a 'Slideshow' folder and control the transitions,
music and most of the other things for you.

So much faster than AP for 'dealing' with a large slideshow, plus it can
master the final disc with your videos too.
Took me a couple of go's to get it right, but it made the process so much
simpler IMO.

Plenty of tutorials on a well known video sharing site :-)
