I went for the easiest solution, and that was using CTRL+TAB to move forward through the entity list. (I.e. hold CTRL and press TAB one or more times to get to the desired object). Selection will be completed once CTRL gets released. The key above TAB should cycle backwards instead. I tried to implement this independent of keyboard layout, but not sure if it truly is cross-platform. Also committed some model meta-data, but I guess we also need to come up with a consistent naming scheme for the connectors. I'll see if I can think of something, but input is welcome. Anyway, still have to change the grid auto-adjust code, but things are starting to look fairly good already.
