I think you'll regret adding too many entries to that - you impact
performance as ADSM compares the list during backup.  Since the files
don't change much, I'd just back them up.  We actually never consider
restoring into our rootvg - we use our mksysb for that, and ADSM on
system files is for specific files if we happen to damage one, or to
restore config files after a mksysb restore.  If we restore over /usr
for instance, we end up with a nonfunctional server.

Can someone send me a generic inclexcl.txt file for AIX 4.3.3

I am look for one that covers %80+ of most clients.
For example I don't want to include all of /etc, but I do
want to include /etc/inittab /etc/aliases /etc/security
things like :
EXclude /.../.netscape/cache/.../*

I want to be sure I can quickly recover any file a sys admin could
corrupt.
