There was some discussion on this last year. In short, you would need: VEREXISTS=NOLIMIT VERDELETED=NOLIMIT RETEXTRA=60 RETONLY=60 Keep in mind that this means someone could make lots and lots of backups of a file, and all inactive copies will be kept for 60 days from the time they become inactive. In practice, this would most likely be fairly rare... but if you are concerned, you might set VEREXISTS and VERDELETED to 60 (or higher). But "NOLIMIT" this will guarantee the restorability you seek. If you set VEREXISTS and VERDELETED to 60, then this will guarantee the restorability provided that only one backup copy (at most) is made per day. If some files are backed up more than once a day, than you would need something higher than 60, i.e. 120 if up to two backup copies are made per day.
