I'd go the easy route (thinner too) and just write a script to send out new dsm.opt/dsm.sys files to your clients. And then have another script that recycles your central scheduler service. If you want to start getting silly, you can also have a script that retrieves copies of your dsm*.log files to a central repository and you can check stuff from there.

Can I use Microsoft Managent Console (MMC) or a Web browser to administrate the clients, so that the administrator doesn´t have to access each client seperatly when changing what to backup? Where can I get the MMC snap in for TSM and how do I implement it? Thanks in Advance Pall B. Wolfram System Administrator
