I know of no way to accomplish this. Policies are on files, not pools. The policy of a file will be in effect whether it's the primary pool copy or one/several copy pool copies. Also, if you did have a copy pool which had different policies than the primary pool, you wouldn't have redundancy. If you lost a copy pool tape you would loose files on that volume that you need to keep forever. There would be no way to recover them. This would also be a huge DR issue. For DR you need: - A copy of all files at a offsite/safe location in case you have a disaster at the main site. - A copy of all files at the main site in case the DR site is lost.
