Yeah i tried with the m2e for android & ADT  on my sample project, even 
configured the androidManifest tag in the pom.xml but the eclipse view 
still showed the error that manifest file is missing .

However i was able to do clean install using maven.  Are you sure even if i 
keep the Android Nature ADT works fine. I mean have you seen/done the same 
way.
