Hi all,

Did anyone think about porting Google Chrome browser on OpenSolaris?
Google announced Chrome 2.0 in H1 2009, for Win/Mac/Linux OSes, but
he made one big change from current version of Chrome - built over again
all HTTP communication libraries so it is not dependent from
WinHTTP as its current version of Chrome.

Everything is open source, so it should not be a problem porting it
to Open Solaris. I think that it is very well designed (at programming
level, and at visual level, too) and very promising browser since it
is backed by Google, and Google's one of strategic decisions is aggressive
development of Chrome since it is matter of its existing business
model based of 'smart-advertising' and it has to move out of business
Microsoft IE because it (Microsoft IE from version 8.0) does not support
feedback to Google what has been searched at google.com anymore (they
incorporated that code in IE 8.0 intentionally to stop further development
of Google).
