There is no response at all.  I the xml request goes out and nothing ever 
comes back.  I begin to suspect that the request is not actually leaving 
our systems but don't know how to confirm that.

I'd be happy to send you my request xml, but I don't want to post it in the 
forum directly because of the company specific information that is embedded 
in it.  Do you have an email address that I could send it to directly?
