How do you factor translations into this assertion: the words--and
original thoughts--already exist, and the translator has to come up
with *other words that convey the exact, or nearly exact, 'sense' of
the original*: that is, convey the literally corresponding notions, to
the extent that is possible, as well as the idiomatic nuances, the
cultural extent of the words (social status, degree of formality,
regional aspect, age aspect, familiarity), etc.?
