This is not a question of art not art anymore than it is a question of dog not dog - all three statements including the one I am now writing are examples of, and manifestations of the ways we in our culture have come to organize things - these systems (taxonomies, philosophies, practices, disciplines, etc.) are subject to constant revision due to the fact that one device we have developed is a self-reflexive/ reflective loop - consequently - for the moment seemingly Cheers would identify this process as ontological and I identify it with epistemology. How this loop developed is a very different question from how we use or miss-use it as a way of knowing.
