I feel the most interesting philosophy begins with what we honestly 
believe. For example, I would waste little time arguing with a solipsist.

The elementary philosophical view is naive realism--things are as they appear.  
 The most sophisticated philosophy arrives at the other end of that beginning 
when it's realized that belief is the ultimate condition of consciousness 
--things are as I imagine/construct them according to nature.
