Was on a Royal Caribbean Cruise over the New Year. Signed up for their ship Internet package and used WiFi calling. Didn't have any issues. Texts worked find and I had no problem dialing into my voice mail to check messages.

I don’t use it, but the only time I hear it mentioned is when a WISP customer calls complaining about WiFi calling, usually dropped or one-way calls, but that everything else on their Internet connection is fine. For whatever reason, they usually seem to have a Sprint phone. My conclusion was that WiFi calling must not be very reliable, so please stop calling your ISP about it. It seems like people were using it at their house rather than get a microcell.

Whatever you do, be sure to explore your options. A friend who just spent 3 weeks in Australia & had not really looked into the options spent $10/day for cell service while there. 21 x $10 =$210. I guess that's not horrible, but I tend to think about what else I might have wanted to spend that money on.

descent enough with Whatsapp that I really never looked at any other
options. The additional I pay for the One on top of the regular service
would probably equal the same as what it would be for a couple of sim
