The NDR series appears to do self recovery too... the only difference I can see in features between the two is DC OK relay contact on the SDR, otherwise the SDR seems to just have a little better specs all around (peak current, temperature range, etc.). I tend to use the SDR series for more critical stuff, but I do still use the NDR sometimes as well.
