I would think I would like a product where the employee walks in, looks at the
camera.
It recognizes the employee, takes the temperature. Logs it, Perhaps puts it
on a screen for all to see and then gives a green light or red light.
Or a klaxon horn or a trap door opening etc.
But the facial recognition and identification would be a very nice feature so
it is 100% autonomous, automatic and able to help provide logs if there is a
problem. Personally I like seeing all the names and temps on the white board
the way we do it now. Shows everyone that everyone else is at least not
feverish.

Well Steve's solution is succinct and efficient.
I tested it and it was ok...I am not a good candidate because my temp ranges in
95.6 to 96.8 range...the non contact worked better but they are thinking of
using this where they process detainees in a line. Right now the non contact
handheld requires one by one...
We had four guys walk in ...one with a cup of coffee near his face...it
targeted him and set off alarms...it was set to trigger at 99.1°.
I will install it if they buy it...and share results.
This setup is a fourier...
