The Traffic will just move over to other upstream connections if they both would have maintenance'd at the same time.

I know what equipment is at my location, which is Ciena and TelcoSystems, but I'm not sure what equipment is on the other end of the fiber.

Just before one provider was supposed to start, they sent a notice they were postponing, the other provider did the upgrade last night.
