The problem with residential WIfi and Cambium is the lack of smart meshing and
the remote tools to manage it. CN MAestero is nice but lacks in a lot of ways
compared to Plume.

Seaweed tastes as bad as it smells

But I've been using the CnPilot e series more. I have two e510, I'm digging
them and pushing them to commercial customers. They have a wall one that fits
in a switch box I think would be cool for residential use

To me they are similar to pickled red cabbage.

To be honest, I’m not sure I’ve ever tried a beet (are they all pickled?) I

On the other hand, I’ll eat sweet&sour red cabbage, and things the rest of my
family just know they hate, like lima beans and eggplant. Actually I don’t eat
them because did I mention my family hates them?

Beets, pickled or otherwise are a go to snack for me. I have several cans in
the fridge right now. Beets, pork n beans, Vienna sausages. Basic staples of
life.

I still remember the dorm cafeteria at college and they would have beans and

say “red” or “green” instead.

College kids today don’t know how good they have it in the food department. 50

Oh, and good thing you called them garbanzo beans, evidently chickpea is now a

Calix is affordable, Calix is expensive. Both true.

Calix has a lot of options so there's a wide range of possible pricing. If you
got a quote for the whole salad bar then it's not going to look good.

Calix is MUCH cheaper to get into than Plume, with lower minimums. They

still going on, but the upfront pricing was much more attractive.

We use Plume and its pretty good. If the decision were entirely in my court
I'd have gone with Calix. Long term it aligns better with where I think the
company should be going - all fiber all the time, but if all you are looking
for is simple wifi that works then Plume is pretty good.

We are looking into a managed WiFi solution for some of our more demanding
clients that either have big homes, or just want the best. We currently use
Mikrotik HAP AC Lite which don't have great coverage, but great features for us
in terms of management.

So for those that need more coverage etc, we thought we could offer something
for a monthly fee like Plume or Calix
Has anyone used them before? Thoughts and comments?
