74 is what I am talking about, not 68. Every president gets a reality check when they get in the pilot’s seat. Things they said or did during the campaign turn out at times to be impractical or just plain wrong. Whether Nixon did it out of political expediency or desperation or because it was the right thing to do, he pulled us out of Vietnam and ended it.
