TVision Home was probably based on Layer3 TV, the 'premium' streaming TV alternative before it was purchased. It was more quality over pricing, and targeted cable/fiber subscribers back in 2016-2018-ish. I'm guessing the new service has very little to do with the previous ecosystem layer3 built up, and is officially being shut down in favor of the new TV play they are making.
