... rolling black outs , frozen turbines, and downed power lines... My friend had to rig cover for heat pump in San Antonio... Very few of those in El Paso... We have gas furnace as most older homes have...my house is very well insulated.. only sheet rock in our house is in room additions and storage rooms in back. Walls are solid...ac and heat run through same duct system...redid it a few years ago when we replaced roof and Master cool. It's 27° outside right now and heater is off...it's 72 in here. Can't do that in most new homes...one friend had pipes burst inside his wall on Sunday... luckily in garage...yep sheetrock... Stay safe folks...
