The Base 3 gets calibrated before it leaves the shop.   The base 2 isn't
calibrated at all and relies on the precision of the components in it.

If this is a Base 3, it might need a recalibration, but we don't currently
have a way to do this in the field.   Shoot us an email to

On the Base 2, it might end up being a damaged component.
