Are you sure it's Bass, or some low level vibrations resonating the
building? Last summer they were working on a 4' NG main a mile from my
house, and whatever they were doing caused the whole house to vibrate,
and sound like Bass, but if you went outside it was perfectly still.
How long does it last for?
