~$700 per Sierra 10 Module

~$425 for the Inview S monitor

~$400 for the shelf

Lead times are rough right now, like everything.

The Sierra Peter recommends is more what I'm looking for. I'm guessing they
sell direct. What is the approximate pricing on these?

I really like that 2 RU charger, inverter thingy. Planning to use one of those
on my next battery project.

You can send the Alpha units back for repairs. I believe it currently costs
$500.

The Sierra racks as normal, 1U for the Sierra 10 enclosure with up to 5
modules. It has a full HTTP/SNMP/SMTP monitoring interface assuming you insert
an Inview-S as a module, the best I’ve seen. AC/DC cabling comes from the back
or side.

We use the Alpha FXM 1000/2000 and they are great. But sometimes they fail and
we have to replace them entirely.

Wish someone out there was good a repairing the FXM units, seems like a waste
to just pull and shelve them.

I’m liking the look of that Sierra system, but a bit unsure of how it racks or
is monitored?

I prefer these guys when I use lead acid:

https://www.alpha.ca/solutions/products/standard-systems/outdoor-ups-solutions/item/alpha-fxm-hp

And these guys when I use lifepo4:

https://www.cet-power.com/en/product/sierra-10-48-230/

(I use the 110V version)

Haven't really paid much attention to the small server room UPS space in a long
time. Normally I'd use a few 3000W APCs with external batteries. This location
has a backup generator but would prefer 45+ minutes of uptime on the servers on
batteries alone.

What is the current recommendation?
