FWIW for my minimal AC load I use an ICT inverter. I don't have any 1500 watt load by any means, let alone double, but if you just use one inverter per 15 amp circuit you'd be good to go.
At a tower site I just use an APC Smart UPS. I still recommend going DC if you can, of course.
