It works but it is generally ethanol and water.  Same as windshield wiper 
fluid.

  where does a guy look to find beetjuice for lowering water freezepoint that 
doesnt have other additives or salt in in? saline free beet brine if you will. 
Is beet soluble enough to get in powder form?
