Well it depends on what you’re buying and volume … sure commodity stuff like an 
HP laser printer then no, don’t waste your time and money.

 

Just ordering some Kingston memory for some upgrades today – best price on the 
‘net was $243 from the usual suspects.  Ingram has it for $173 …. Just an 
example – not one that justifies setting an account up if you’re ordering a 
couple of RAM upgrades or something though….

 

Where Ingram (or Tech Data) really shines is with volume and certain partner 
programs.
