[AFMUG] very short NBM5 link wont perform

We have a short, like 150 foot link NBM525 on both sides, no shields, we
have peaked them to -30 we have turned power down, turned power up and
pointed to the ground on bothe sides to get to -55. on 20 or 40.
mhz channels, airmox off performs slightly better, but we can get more than
12-20 mb across this. Any tips?
