There are also porch lights with built in motion sensors, if there’s a shelter
you could put on on the outside, might be nice to have an automatic light
anyway.

Fence, barbed wire, sign, needless to say.

Locked climb guard on the tower

Prominent cameras, real or fake (we put big ones up around our building, have
had 2 vandalisms in a year compared to weekly prior)

DVR surveillance systems are dirt cheap (as with anything you get what you par
for) but you can get cheap 16 channel with 8 cameras on newegg for under 500
bucks, if you want action, get one with relay outputs, have motion trigger
whatever you want, from flood lights to claymore detonation.

Snapshot on motion is pretty much standard on any system now

Fence with barb wire, locked gate, anticlimb panels, cameras, motion
activated lighting … slows them down at least J

That doesn't really help prevent it, though. That just catches the guy that
already did the damage.

I'd do something like make the camera very obvious and motion activated
lights if you want to do prevention. What about using the sheet metal things
for the base of the tower?

That is an excellent idea! not only will you be alerted, but it's highly

Put 220vac on the tower. You'll definitely get a phone call if someone
