More than likely the semi trailer that your package is on is hitting
railroad RFID sensors. BNSF runs by our office every 10 to 30 minutes in
both directions. That's the line that runs Chicago to LA. I used to like
trains. They need to invent hover trains already.

Does the truck that my box is on just randomly check in, and
they update the tracking? I would have expected to see
updates at like Denver, or Omaha or Des Moines, where they'd
go to a fedex yard and fuel/change drivers.
