try mule tape. fairly cheap & light. we've put a bunch on a extension cord reel. you will need a small weight so when you drop the tape, it doesn't blow in the wind too much.
roland > On some towers, water towers and buildings it's a real pain to bring the rope up. I'm wondering if there's some sort of really light rope that would enable us to bring the whole thing up, drop it, and then pull up a real load rope. My main concern would be weight and size of 200+ feet of even tiny rope. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
