(not for a 25g in the last example. That was just a good ballast ring example) On Sat, Jan 9, 2016 at 7:12 PM, Jeremy <jeremysmi...@gmail.com> wrote: Just thinking out loud here....how much extra work would it be to make it also able to be used on a peak? I mean, if you are making "one non-pen to rule them all", it would be adjustable for pitch, pipe size, and for peaks. https://www.talleycom.com/images/MTSRT-PM-B_big.jpg Also, perhaps it would be able to have some type of add-on purchase which could add a larger ballast for 3-4" pipes 10' tall. Like, if you had this (but adjustable) http://www.3starinc.com/images/super/ROHN_JRM23855_800x600t.jpg ...with the ability to add an outer ring and make it into this: http://www.3starinc.com/images/super/ROHN_25GBRM_800x600t.jpg On Sat, Jan 9, 2016 at 2:40 PM, <ch...@wbmfg.com> wrote: Yeah, that is always a problem. The more assembly you do during fabrication, the more it costs to ship, the larger the packing crate is, the more expensive packing is etc etc. From: Lewis Bergman Sent: Saturday, January 9, 2016 2:35 PM To: af@afmug.com Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Non penetrating mounts Anything you can do to speed assembly but still take up less space. I never liked how long they took to put together. On Sat, Jan 9, 2016, 12:05 PM Chuck McCown <ch...@wbmfg.com> wrote: I get constantly asked to do a non penetrating mount. I have always resisted because there are a ton of them out there already. But I get almost daily searches for this term on my website. It appears folks presume I have one. If I did one, I would like to have some feature or quality that differentiates it from the rest. Perhaps a unit that can be locked or hinged for flat or peak mounts. Maybe one with hinged legs that give it a wider footprint using greater leverage so you don’t need as many concrete blocks. I dunno, any ideas?
