There are multiple generations of the CCK, some of which aren't even
called a CCK. Yeah, they're meant to inject Internet into the system,
but it should work the other way.

My personal Direct TV receiver (admittedly an older model) will
not talk
on its Ethernet port. I "must" use their add-on WiFi device to
connect
it to the Internet.
