I haven't seen Japan or Germany try to start any wars since then. While some Japanese don't like us very much, they aren't out to cut our heads off. I think the Germans for the most part know their leaders were wrong and are content to live in their semi-socialist environment until the money runs out. Although that might be changing with all the refugees pouring in there. With the rise of crime that will come with that, and the strain on their social system, I'd bet you'll see some extremism rise again.
