[AFMUG] Sync Converter to sync 450i ?

Would it be possible to use a PacketFlux sync converter to sync a 450i AP?
The sync converter draws sync off of a sync'd power port and breaks it 
off to 6-pin timing sync.  This is a helpful product for when AP's 
suddenly stop accepting Sync-over-Power.
I'm wondering if it could be a dirty way to provide sync to 450i AP's 
without needing proper sync over 48vdc power.
