Yeah in my “neck of the woods” we seem to range from roughly 100F (which is very hot for here but happens a few times each summer I’d say) to around -15F or so in the heart of winter.
Our winters here (eastern Ontario) are not remotely what they used to be (1-2 feet of snow it seems). Basically we get the same weather as Chicago does to the South West slightly and Minneapolis does to the North West except lake effect from the Great Lakes can make for some interesting changes sometimes ;) When I was a kid, the thought of a green Christmas was almost unheard of … now it’s pretty common – lots of theories of course on what has caused those changes … It’s not bad though in general minus the humidity in the summers in my opinion … I’ve travelled a lot in my life and hottest I’ve ever been was North Africa (Sahara Desert region) where it hit around 130F going by memory .. coldest would ironically be extremely northern in Canada itself where I was trying to work outdoors in -60F climate .. brrrrrrr….
