Very nice on the 4-port UGPS-like powered box. Looking forward to it.

One thought I had (after leaving the office of course) is trying to put the 'box on a SyncInjector so that it gets switched to NMEA mode. But the guys are going to install that AP tomorrow morning. It's just a single 900 AP that we're putting up to test, so I didn't want to burn a SyncInjector just for that.

Here's the pinout map for reference:

Looks fine to me. And the cable I made does show that mapping. So yeah, maybe it's just a serial data bug. Oh well.

The 450i software has a known bug where the serial port receive data is quite flaky. Cambium is aware of the issue and is working on fixing it.

I'm on the road so I can't verify your cable is correct, although I will say that it matches my memory of where the pins are (I'm sure about 1 and 6 going to 8 and 7, the serial data pins seem to match (it's definitely 3 on the RJ12, and I know the cable is in approximately the correct spot on the RJ45).

FYI, we'll be showing a 4 Port SyncBox Jr at WISPAPALOOZA which has RJ45's and will be powered from the 450i aux port directly, just like a ugps, but without the awkward custom cable.

So I've got a 450i AP running 14.1.2 and one of the new SyncBox
Junior's. I wired a patch cable like Matt posted here:

I get sync on the timing port, but no data. I know that rj12 pin 3
is the GPS Tx data on the boxes and pipes. And it says rj45 pin 5
is the GPS Rx data. So it appears to be the correct wiring. The
    cable tests fine.

I'm wondering if the AP can't see the Motorola binary GPS data and
wants NMEA instead, like from a UGPS? If not that, then I'm lost.
Or do I need it on 14.2.x? I really don't want to go there yet.
