AF has a non symmetry in the TX and RX antennas. If all the signal was coming
out of the same antenna I would say that yes, it is hard to cause a non
symmetry.

RF paths though are almost always symmetric.

Most common cause would be xmt power set wrong or bad electronics. Also 20 dB
low is often symptomatic of a bad power amp on the xmt side or a bad RF switch
on a TDD radio.

Only after all the horses have been investigated and eliminated would I start
looking for zebras.

If you have a spare radio, I would swap out the radio at the xmt end of the bad
path.

I would bet on the tank causing problems. You need to be 10-20 or more
wavelengths away from anything to get predictable results.

It's always been pretty accurate in the past and I have a pretty wide-open view
I'm 85 feet up on the water tower that sits on a mountaintop on one end and I'm
200 feet up on the building roof top on the other end. The odd part is that I
am achieving that -65 signal on at least one of the chains. I have a feeling
that it resting on the top of the tank is possibly causing some weird reflection
