I think the syslog is the only view from the gui you have but there is a field diag file that can be sent to cambium engineer for review

I have a customer with a misbehaving PTP800 link.

It drops when it rains or is foggy and Im trying to pin down why it is

Is there any way to tell if the modem is losing communication with the RF head?

I know in Dragonwave radios, using the CLI you can get all sorts of stats. Does
the same thing exist for the PTP800? If so, how do you access it? I dont
have physical access to it so Ill be working remote (probably teamviewer ).

Cambium, you really should put time stamps in the diagnostic csv files. It is
rather difficult to correlate events with files from the other end.
