If you use liquidtite and use the proper connectors, you don’t need to put in a drip loop or 180 to keep the water out. Any bend you make in that stuff makes it harder to pull the wires through. But if you can pull the wires and you don’t have connectors then what you are describing is just fine.

Lowe's didn't have any goose necks or anything so I'm thinking I'll run the conduit up (so the opening is facing earth) and then do a 180* down the silo and into the shack/our NEMA box.
