I use Gantt when critical paths can be defined in time. It is good for big
projects with contractors etc. But for development work where it largely
depends on me, my to-do list works just fine.

I never got into Evernote, so maybe I'll check out Samepage.
I use WorkFlowy, but it doesn't have any way to really prioritize or make
dependent.
I think I need something like Project to GANT my activities.
Anyone have a tool they like for that type of project tracking?

Evernote works great. For those Microsoft office users out there,
OneNote is a really good app as well. Does great with web clippings,
pictures and general notes. We use it to build a very simple
knowledgebase for our folks as well as the searching is so good. It
also syncs to all platforms, which is one of the great features of
Evernote.

Evernote.
Definitely not even close to perfect, but it seems the most usable of
any solution I've tried for this type of stuff, so it ends up being
what I use the most. I'd love to hear someone suggest something else
better though...

I'm not one for using productivity apps and methods.
I do carry around a pen and notepad with me everywhere.
But I'm finding that it's not easy to reference the crap load of
notes and thoughts I put in these, then pile up in a corner when
they fill up.
So I'm thinking of doing SOMETHING to change the way my 'inputs'
come in to me and get processed into actionable items.
Over the years I've flirted with a number of apps/software packages
and methodologies but nothing seems to stick with me.
Now I'm set to make something work.
I assume a lot of you are like me in this regard.
Anyone find a solution/group of solutions that helped them organize
and track progress on actionable items?
Also recording and reference notes like topology drawings, meetings
notes, switch port changes etc, lol!
