It appears there are two options:
Backup and Sync
Google Drive File Stream

The first is just the new version of Google Drive.

The second is cloud based only and is designed for enterprise and teams.
OK, but I want local files.

I am switching over to the Backup and Sync.

Yep, it is been flawless. I have it on three machines all synching and sharing
folders with others.

I've been doing Dropbox since WAY before Gdrive. I'm continuing to use it.
Things change a little bit but the core functionality stays the same.

Dropbox is to Cambium and Gdrive is to Ubnt - one chugs along working just
fine while the other is flashy and changes their whole shit every 180 days

And I knew where to find my local google drive.

It appears that maybe it has made a new drive/partition on my physical hard
drive for the local files?

OK, so Google said Google Drive is going away and I need to download Google
Drive File Stream.
I did that. Now I have a G: drive. But it is not synching with my Google
Drive. So, do I now just stop using

    Google drive completely?
And what about my other computers, I guess I have to load this new thing on
them.

I made a change on the old Google Drive and the change did not show up on
the new one.
