I DNS all of my management things. But certs on those things is still ultra fucking annoying, add to that the ones that slow down to a crawl when you enable HTTPS.
Let's Encrypt would be the easiest thing, but then I have to let them talk to the internet. Maybe it's just me but I don't let management things talk to the world.
