Plenty of people drink beer, vodka, and wine, and don't grow the ingredients/brew it. It's not that hard to make beer, but I still would rather just go buy some at the grocery store.

I think that is what might happen in CA legalization. The sum of all the state & local taxes now amounts to about 35% (might be off slightly in my memory). But the point is, it leaves a lot of room for a black market. Sure, the retail price of pot is about 50% of what it was, but we shall see.

            Rather than buy bitcoin, I think I will buy some real estate
            situated for building a recreational pot store at some
        point in the
            future....
            At least the land will retain some value.
            (This is Utah, that alone should tell you how likely that
