Wikipedia, the multilingual online encyclopedia, has a number of African language sections that could use more contributions. A list is appended below FYI. The complete list of Wikipedia sections is at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wikipedias  (NB- if you want to see a page *in* a language, as opposed to *about* it in English, you will need to click on the 2 or 3 letter code in the "Wiki" column).
 
For those not familiar with Wikipedia or the wiki concept, it is a technology that permits readers to contribute directly to the contents of the site. More info is available at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Contents
